It’s animated by Pete Candeland & Passion Pictures who have done a lot of work for Guitar Hero and Rockband before (plus all those Gorillaz videos).

German Urban Artists Mentalgassi have been covering giant recycling containers and water towers and many other public structures with these giant faces.

Their website has many more pictures and a few videos of how it’s done. Well worth a visit.

A pub in London England was evacuated and road was block off when workers uncovered a replica of Monty Python’s Holy Hand Grenade. The comedy troupe originally fashioned the grenade after the Sovereign’s Orb used at royal coronations and doesn’t really resemble a grenade at all. It took the bomb squad nearly an hour to figure this out.

The Sound Advice Project offers bracelets made from 6 seconds of audio of your choosing. The waveforms from the audio are transformed into beads that fit around the bracelet. It’s intended as a tool for parents to help their kids stay off drugs but since the audio can be anything you want…
