There’s been a lot of hoopla over the new Watchmen movie that is out, but the nearly 3 hour live action theatrical experience pales in comparison to the 12 volume comic book masterpiece it’s based on. Watchmen is often refereed to as the greatest graphic novel of all time and is the only comic book on Time’s Top 100 Novels of All Time.
Many die hard fans of the comic have often said it would be better served as a 12 part animated run on HBO. Well for those of you disappointed with the live action adaptation need not look any further than the “Watchmen Motion Comic”. They’ve taken every panel in the book and crudely animated it adding sound effects, music and narration by Tom Stechschulte who reads nearly every work that Alan Moore put on the page.
It’s 12 half hours. 3 times longer than Zack’s version.
Yelp is a customer review site which allows anyone to contribute reviews about anything they wish. There has been some controversy surrounding the site when the Yelp Sales force would call/harass restaurant owners offering to remove negative reviews from the site… for a hefty price.
Pizzeria Delfina was one of these restaurants. They received several phone calls from Yelp offering to move some of the more negative reviews from the site for $300 US a month!
Rather than giving in to this scam Pizzeria Delfina had some of the worst reviews printed onto T-shirts and had the staff wear them!
It makes sense to embed a calender into your desktop wallpaper. It’s handy as hell and you don’t need any fancy widgets or system resource-hogging apps running, just a couple of minutes with photoshop. Well save yourself the couple of minutes; Smashing Magazine has you covered with a collection of cool wallpapers with calenders already in them!
Chat Noir is a small, clever little flash game. Simply stop the cat from leaving the screen. Click the light green dots to turn them dark green and proceed to fence the little guy in. Easy right? Nope.
Now it’s true not every employee gets one of these, but if you are a mucky-muck or some PR executive, the people at Lego will try to match up your features with your minifig business card.
Yes please!
